Good summer throw blanket
Have had this a few days now and it seems to be a good substitute for my full sized weighted blanket that is way too hot in the summer. I wanted something that i could still drape across my torso while i sleep, but that wasn’t so crazy hot. This seems to be nice compromise. It’s not too light-weight and the size seems to be ok. The color is really pretty the material is soft. So i think this will be a good summer alternative to my hotter, heavier weighted blanket.

Perfect for sleeping!
I love this! It’s the perfect size and the perfect weight. I love the calming effect it has on me which helps me to sleep soundly through the night. I also like the feeling of the material — so soft! It is the perfect warmth for me, too. Not too hot, just perfect.

I sleep best with a weighted blanket but my usual one was getting too hot for warming Midwest temperatures so I got this to cover up my top half. Absolutely perfect, slept like a baby. The blanket is soft, doesn’t have a smell to it, is not too heavy, not too big. Im glad i chose the larger size. Easy to pack for trips as well

Blanket is great! Shape is cute. Feels soft, forest green color is pretty. I gave it 4 stars because it is a little underweight at 6lbs 6.5oz- over a half lb lighter. If it were the listed weight of 7lbs, I would give it a perfect 5!

The comfort of puppy snuggles without a dog
I have to admit that I thought the weighted blanket trend was crazy until I bought this to finally give one a try. It’s not a magical cure-all for my anxiety or sleep problems, but it is oddly comforting. It reminds me of when my dog was younger and used to lay on top of me in winter to keep his belly warm. The weight also helps relieve muscle tension a bit if I lay it over sore spots when I’ve got a back ache or cramps. Sadly, I was never able to train my dog to lay on my sore spots, so this is the next best thing.What gives this particular blanket an edge over similar products is that it has a velvety fabric on one side and a plain woven fabric on the other that, while not actually a cooling material, doesn’t seem to retain as much heat as the faux velvet. Between the woven fabric back and having my legs, shoulders, and arms uncovered due to the shape, I don’t get claustrophobic or overheated like I feared I would with a full-sized weighted blanket. That said, I do pair this with an Opal Cool sleep pad on really miserable summer nights. I can lay directly on the sleep pad for maximum cooling effect with just this blanket on top of me, or I can put the cooling pad between the blanket and my belly if I’m just running warm instead of hot. The weighted blanket keeps the cooling pad in place without making me too cold to sleep.I haven’t washed this yet or even had it long, so I can’t speak to its long-term durability, but it is tightly stitched and machine washable. If you’re on the fence about trying a weighted blanket, this is a great one to start with. Just measure first to make sure it will cover as much of your body as you prefer.

Perfect For Divergent Brains.
100% would recommend these to anyone that enjoys a hug, sleeping under an old quilt, having a cat on your lap, or any sort of processing disorder/neurodivergences.These are an ideal weight for lap blankets, shoulder hug, or put on legs to ease restless leg syndrome. I find it to be a lovely temperature (a hot sleeper here), not cold, but not sweating like plastic beaded weighted blankets. My sleep quality is improved.These seem to be decent quality and a good value. 100 percent recommend.

Comforting
I bought this for my wife to take to restorative yoga. She loves it and has slept with it every night at well. It’s not too big and works great under our regular blanket. She even grabs it for couch sitting. It has a plush side and what I would consider a regular fabric side, making it great for either preference.
