The best oven mitts I’m ever used
These KitchenAid ribbed silicone oven mitts are the best oven mitts I’ve ever owned. When you just feel them, you think there is no way they would be comfortable, you would be wrong. They fit well, come up about halfway between my wrist and elbow, allowing great protection from burns on the lower parts of my arms. They are thick, but not as bulky as they seem. They give you a good grip on your pans coming out of the oven and with a 500-degree heat resistance, you don’t have to worry about the heat seeping through to your hand or fingers. Because of the high temp heat resistance, you can also use them to sit a hot pan down on if needed. The silicone stripes make clean up a breeze. If I spill something on one, I just use a warm, wet dishcloth with a bit of Dawn to wipe off the mess and it comes right off. These mitts are heavy duty, sturdy, safe for high temps, fit well, and allow for a great grip. They are a great value and worth more than what I paid for them. I was so glad to get them on sale so I could try them out. Even my husband is quite impressed with these new mitts. We both used them yesterday and was so pleased with them, we instantly threw away a couple we had that we didn’t feel near as confident with. I highly recommend these oven mitts.

Beautiful and functional
I make our own sourdough bread… two loaves a week. I was looking for non-slip hot pad holders that were more washable. My old ones took forever to dry. These are working great to remove a very hot and heavy cast iron pan from very hot oven. No slipping. I like that they cover my arms, too. I really like that I can just wash them off right at the kitchen sink. The color is beautiful! Not a harsh, lemon shade- more butter-colored. They take some getting used to, but once I did, I really liked them!
