Pretty but not comfortable
This yoga rug is pretty, but it feels quite rough. It also has a strong scent of paint or chemicals coming out of the package.

Durable, well knit
Looks good, my wife has been using it for yoga with a foam yoga pad under it since we have hardwood floors. Rolls up easy and is just the right width and length for 5’6″ person to comfortably stay on the mat during the routines.

Just got it but I like it so far
I didn’t wash it before first use – I should have. It smelled musty and the fibers were a bit stiff which made my palms a bit sore when in down dog for an extended period. I have used it a couple of times now with my standard mat under it. I will report back when I try it without a pad/mat underneath but I suspect it should be good. It was much softer the second time I used it (after washing).Does not slip or slide (when reg mat is under it). It was a bit slippery for my foot grip but became more tacky when I sprayed it with water.Reason for purchase: Some yoga mats may contain per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), also known as “forever chemicals,” which are a toxic class of chemicals that have been linked to serious health conditions.Organic cotton seems much better for my sweaty palms/feet, which are absorbent parts of our body.

The only reason I bought this yoga mat was because it was advertised as 100% cotton. It turns out it’s not true as the fabric was mixed with some unknown material. Besides that there was unpleasant odor.
