The size is perfect for 1 or 2 people (or chili cheese dip). I can leave it on the counter and put my big, heavy 7-quart crock pot away for company. The oval shape seems easier to clean for some reason. The controls are simple – nothing fancy, which is what I wanted. Just a couple things that may concern others – the lid is a bit rocky/ill fitting. Also, just like my big slow cooker, there doesn’t seem to be a big difference between low and high temps. Liquids can boil on low. One more thing — love the red!

Excellent 3 quart slow cooker
I bought this 3 quart model in order to make meals for 1 – 2 people. The stoneware pot is heavy, but easy to clean. The pot itself can get quite hot, so need to be careful handling it. The cooker works as expected, able to make stews and, for example, a Cornish hen (see photo). Just fill the bottom of the pot with vegetables, in this case, halved sweet potato and carrots, so that the hen is a bit raised from the bottom. Season the hen with herbs, such as thyme, garlic, rosemary, and then add a bit of liquid, such as broth, cooking wine, about 3/4 inch in bottom, set the hen on top, cover and cook on high. This one was cooked for about 4 1/2 hours, to the correct internal temp, no pink juices running out of meat. Just remember that meat will not brown as in oven, but still okay. This cooker is easy to use, just set and go, free from the kitchen. Good price.

It Works GREAT!!!
This 3-quart Elite Gourmet slow cooker holds a good amount of food/liquid for soups, pot roasts, etc., and is perfect for two people. So far, I’ve made a pot roast with carrots, baby red potatoes, a 2-pound chuck roast, and Swanson beef broth. I’ve also made barbecued boneless skinless chicken thighs, and more recently, chicken rice soup with carrots, celery, Swanson chicken broth and boneless skinless chicken breasts cut in 2 inch chunks. Everything came out juicy, tender and tasty! All three temperature settings work perfectly and I especially like the fact that it has a tempered glass lid (one of the main reasons for buying it). I highly recommend this 3-quart Elite Gourmet slow cooker!!!

It holds a lot more than you would think
In the photos I gave measurements. It’s the perfect size. Made a pot roast in it and everything was cooked evenly and perfectly. I let the pot roast go for about eight hours and it was phenomenal. I cooked approximately half a roast but honestly you could put a whole roast in. It says it feeds one to two people but I would say if you did it right, you could feed about three. The outside of it gets hot as many crockpots do but it’s a great little appliance. Very pleased with the purchase. I like that the interior is removable. Very easy to clean.

Considerei o material de boa aparência e qualidade mas, na minha avaliação, em razão da falta do timer dificulta o cozimento lento. Há necessidade de acompanhar visualmente o preparo e a indisponibilidade do meu tempo não permite. Pode ser perigoso deixar cozinhando (ligada) sem acompanhar presencialmente. Por esta questão solicitei a devolução e fui atendido e reembolsado rapidamente. Equipe Amazon bastante eficaz em todo o processo.

Lo que no me gusto es que es muy pequeña,su capacidad es como para 100 grs de carne,ideal para cocer una tasa de verduras solo que ponerla en temperatura baja y no dejarla en la noche ya que se consume muy rápido el liquido, me gusta mucho pero solo puedo cocinar un plato para mi
