Holding up to abuse and lots of use
I saw that I failed to leave a review when I originally purchased in February 2021. I tote this thing daily and I love it. I need a second because I left it at my daughter’s house, I’ll buy a new one for home so I don’t need to carry it back and forth when watching my grandson. He is 10 months and loves my bottle. He throws it, plays with it, drops it on the floor, and it has never popped open. It usually has something in it and it has never leaked. It’s the perfect size and holds up well. I love the blue top. Hoping my new one is just as amazing.

Best shaker / drink bottle
I’ve been using these Contigo bottles for years. They’re plastic so they’ll need replacing eventually. If you’re looking to have a single bottle you’re whole life (whether it’s this brand or another) then plan on being disappointed.For the rest of us, this thing works great!The ball is loud but I’m usually pretty sensitive to sound and like being quiet. If you don’t care how loud you are, then you won’t mind this.Typically my protein powder will mix well enough without the ball.When I used to get the cheapest isolate from Walmart, then it would still be chunky whether I used the ball or not. I just like the bottle for what it is. It’s simple and has just enough color to be your own without being in everyone’s face.I’ve always been impressed with how strong the top is. Brand new Sometimes it’s strong enough to where you think it’s closed but it isn’t. I always liked the pop sound it makes when closing.After some hard drops and hard months in a warehouse, the top doesn’t work so good. After a few years of no drops in a house environment, it still keeps kicking. The cap will be the first to go. Sometimes the seal will go if you put too hot of water on it.Favorite part is the look and how it has the ounces on the side. I’m not too crazy about intake but it’s nice being able to quickly guage things.Very sturdy. I like it, you probably will too.Try it!ALSO! It’s super easy to clean!I don’t care about the ball mechanics, but that rounded bottom makes it so easy to clean.But as a guy I’m pretty biased towards round bottoms 🙂

Easily my favorite refillable bottle
Originally, I picked one up at Walmart for my husband. I decided to buy one for myself after he started kidding me about not being able to use his own bottle.It’s been sturdy and leak proof. However, you do have to push hard on the flip top to get it to latch. It sort of clicks once, but keep pushing until you feel it catch firmly. After that, it’s good to go. Even though we turned it upside down and shook it vigorously to test it, the bottle refused to leak. But, you do have to be sure that the flap is closed all the way.The inside is bowl shaped so it’s easy to hand wash or put in the dishwasher. I can put a large carabiner onto the handle and clip it to my backpack. The bottle itself is fairly lightweight without bogging down my backpack too much. The bottle fits into the cup holder in our van.The walls are fairly thick but it’s not insulated. I use this in the car, at work, camping and outdoors for iced or cool beverages, but not for hot drinks. Don’t even try it with soda. The pressure builds as it does in any soda bottles. You know the pop that you get when you open a soda bottle? This bottle has a flip top spout.What I can’t address is how the bottle is when used with the shakerball. My husband’s shows no signs of damage even though it was dropped several times on a cross-continent road trip. But, I can’t say how it would be if vigorously shaken daily with the ball inside of it. I’ve shaken the bottle several times when it had ice cubes in it to mix flavoring packets and haven’t had a problem.The road trip is what convinced me to buy for myself. It’s easy to drink from and holds 28 ounces. Refilling the bottle at water fountains on the trip quickly recouped the cost. Easily my favorite of the bottles that we’ve owned.

Liked overall, but….
I purchased 3 of these, and while I did like them overall I did decide to purchase a different style when I needed another one. As long as I made sure the lid was closed (and on right!) than I haven’t had any issues with leakage. I did have a couple times where it started spewing because I thought the lid was on tight, but it wasn’t. I just learned to put my hand on the spout cover as I shook. I love the size and they are easy to clean….If I forgot to rinse them out soon enough than I just put them in the dishwasher. The one major complaint I have is that the sunken spot on the lid (the round spot that pushes into the drinking spout) pushes down so hard that eventually all three of them got a large hole in that spot where it actually separated from the plastic surrounding it. This essential makes the lid garbage and since you don’t get a replacement lid; the entire thing is garbage at that point! Each one lasted several months, but for the price I would like to try to find something that will last me a great deal longer.

Three features of this bottle make it better for me than the Shaker Bottle
Three features of this bottle make it better for me than the Blender Bottle. The extra wide opening on the handle makes it easier to grab and carry. The curved bottom allow for quicker and better hand washing. And since I make shakes with whole grains, the mixer ball on the Blender Bottle kept getting clogged, so I stopped using it. But, the solid, heavy mixing ball on this one is perfect. I use a blender to actually mix the shake before pouring in the bottle, but the mixer ball is good to remix later. I bought four of these, make the shakes ahead and freeze them. I set one on the counter first thing in the morning while getting ready for work. Then toss it in my bag on the way out the door (so far, the fit is tight and no leaks). By the time I get to work and settled at my desk, the shake is perfect. These shakes have been a game changer for convenience and eating a better breakfast. Would totally recommend these bottles.

Sobre el envío: Llegó antes de lo estimado, en perfecto estado, quizás lo único criticable es que el empaque del producto venía un poco empolvado.Sobre el producto: Es muy útil para cualquier tipo de batido, lo he probado con un producto que personalmente me era muy complicado de batir con otros productos porque dejaba grumos, pero con este no he tenido problemas, el agitador parece ser muy eficaz.El vaso está graduado en alto relieve, así que aquellos que requieren precisión en cuanto a las cantidades lo van a amar y sin preocuparse porque se pueda borrar con el lavado. Por cierto el lavado es muy fácil gracias al fondo redondeado, te olvidas de que queden residuos del batido, por el tamaño que tiene, puedes meter la mano con una esponja o fibra y queda perfectamente limpio.El cierre de la tapa es perfecto sin derrames o fugas al agitar, ojo con el tapón de dónde bebes, ya que debe dar dos clics, el primero es un cerrado parcial, el segundo es totalmente cerrado.

Es raro que escriba una reseña para algo como un termo con tanta emocion jaja pero la verdad es que es un super super producto. De hecho ya compre 2 :)1- El material es super resistente y aguantado, aparte de estar 100% libre de BPA2- No escurre nada de nada3- Viene con un mixer para quien lo quiera usara para proteina o cualquier cosa en polvo que se diluya en agua4- Es super y repito super fácil de lavar, hay muchos termos que son muy angostos y no entra la mano pero yo lo puedo lavar sin problema que soy de mano tamaño mediana5- La parte inferior es curva por lo que no se quedan residuos de lo que pongas adentro BRILLANTE!!! Lo deberían de tener todos y es algo muy sutil pero no tienen idea de lo higiénico que se siente y lo fácil que es de mantener limpio.Espero que esta reseña te haya sido útil 🙂

I’ve been buying these shakers over the last couple of years and let me tell you, they are, hands down, THE BEST shakers one can buy. They are definitely durable, simply pick them up and feel the comparatively thicker plastic; very easy to clean as they have a round bottom which means no corners for things to get stuck; and I’ve never had any of them leak.Properly taken care of (i.e., not dropped down stairs, not thrown, run over, etc.), I don’t see why these shakers couldn’t last 5+ years of daily use. I have 4 of these shakers total now, and 2 of them I’ve been using for four years.
